Our approaches are grounded in relationship, presence and practical change. We support families, carers and professionals to respond to distress, anxiety, conflict and escalation in evidence-informed, trauma-informed ways.
Rather than focusing only on the child, we strengthen the adults and systems around them.
NVR: strengthening adult presence, de-escalation, support networks and consistent responses to distress.
SPACE: helping parents and carers respond differently to anxiety, avoidance and accommodation patterns.
Trauma-informed relational practice: supporting adults to respond with curiosity, calm and connection.
Evidence-based practice: keeping work reflective, explainable and proportionate to the needs of each family, team or service.
Our work is grounded in evidence-informed, trauma-informed and relational approaches. We use frameworks such as NVR and SPACE alongside clinical judgement, lived experience and practical support for the adults around children and young people.
These approaches help reduce escalation, strengthen connection and support calmer, more consistent responses across families, schools, health services and wider care systems.
Non-Violent Resistance (NVR): strengthening adult presence, de-escalation and support networks.
SPACE: supporting parents and carers to respond differently to anxiety and avoidance.
Relational, trauma-informed practice: helping adults respond with confidence, curiosity and consistency.
Evidence-based practice: using approaches that can be explained, reflected on and adapted to real-world systems.
